"Used to trust Indigo more"
I shop on indigo.ca often, and I’ll admit the Plum points are nice to have, but they take forever to add up to anything that feels worthwhile. The free shipping perks help now and then, but the whole loyalty program just doesn’t feel as rewarding as it should. I used to trust that being a regular customer actually meant something, but lately it feels like that trust has worn down a bit. It’s not terrible, just disappointing.

I paid with my card and it went through right away with no issues. Checkout problems always feel preventable to me, so it was nice that this was simple and hassle-free.

"Good value, but communication could be clearer"
The prices are decent and overall it feels like good value for what you get. That said, I was a bit annoyed by how unclear the communication was at times. A little more straightforward information would’ve made the whole experience much better.

I checked before going and it showed the item was available in the store, but when I got there, it wasn’t there at all. What made it more annoying was having to keep verifying things over and over just to find out the info was wrong anyway. Frustrating experience

"Super quick delivery"
I ordered a couple of books from Indigo and figured it would take a week or so, but they showed up way faster than I expected. I got the shipping email the same day, and the package was at my door in about 2 days. Everything was packed nicely too, with no bent corners or damage. Happy overall, and I’d definitely order again.

"Checkout felt a bit clunky"
Ordering from indigo was mostly fine, but the checkout process felt slower than it should’ve been. I had to enter my card info again for some reason, which always makes me wonder if the site is nudging you to double-check or maybe just hoping you won’t notice certain details. The shipping options also weren’t very clear at first, almost like they didn’t really want you comparing them too closely. It did go through in the end, but it wasn’t as smooth as I expected.

I ordered a book from indigo and unfortunately it showed up a little damaged, so I ended up returning it. Starting the return online was straightforward, which I appreciated, but the refund took longer than I expected. I was actually wondering if this is normal for other people too. Customer service did get back to me, just not super quickly. It all worked out in the end, but compared to what I’ve heard from others, I was hoping the process would be a bit smoother

I wasn’t totally sure what I wanted to read next, and this actually helped me find a few books quickly. I’d search around, pause, think about it a bit... and then find something that fit what I was in the mood for. Simple, but really useful.

"Books arrived in great shape"
Ordered from indigo.ca and yeah, happy with it. The box was solid. Sturdy enough that nothing got banged up. Books came with no dents, no crushed corners, which I really appreciated. Only annoying part was the amount of tape and filler. A bit much to clean up after. But overall? Good experience

"A Tiny Book-Buying Miracle"
I ordered a couple of books on indigo.ca and, it felt almost too easy. By the next day, they were waiting for me at my local store like some perfectly timed plot twist. The email came in quickly, the pickup desk was easy to spot, and the whole thing was over before I could even brace myself for a lineup. Staff just checked my name, handed over the books, and that was it. No wandering the aisles, no dramatic shelf-searching quest. Definitely using this again.

I ordered a hardcover from indigo and it showed up really nicely packaged, with no dents or bent corners. The book was clean and in great condition, which I was happy about. I’d say it’s worth considering if you’re picky about your books arriving undamaged.

"Pretty reasonable shipping"
I ordered a couple of books from indigo the shipping cost wasn’t bad at all. I’ve definitely paid more on other sites, so that was a nice surprise. The package showed up fine too, nothing damaged or weird, so... yeah, I don’t really have any complaints. I’d probably order from them again.

"Cozy in spots, but not always relaxing"
I usually enjoy the atmosphere at Indigo, and there are definitely little corners that feel calm and comforting. I love wandering around the shelves when it’s quiet. But it can get crowded and loud, especially around the gifts and café area, which kind of takes away from that peaceful bookstore feeling I’m always hoping for. Sometimes I feel more stressed than relaxed because I’m trying not to bump into people while browsing. It’s not a bad experience at all, just a bit disappointing when I’m craving a quiet, cozy bookstore visit

"Decent site, but the timing is frustrating"
I like that indigo has a good mix of books, gifts, and kids’ items, but it feels like the stuff I’m actually looking for is missing or out of stock at the worst possible time. I’ll finally decide to order something, and of course that’s when it’s unavailable. Overall it’s fine, but I really wish the selection was more consistent.

"Good products, but the site should be better"
I shop on indigo.ca every now and then, and it’s fine for basic stuff. The search usually gets the job done, but some pages load slowly and the filters aren’t always that useful. Checkout worked, but it felt a bit clunky. I do like the products, but for a company this big, they should be making the site easier and more respectful of customers’ time, especially on a phone.
